Orkideh Torabi creates bold, large-scale silkscreen paintings of male figures in intimate spaces. The men are often half-naked, grooming one another in hammams or whispering secrets to one another under trees in pastoral settings.

Ali Banisadr: Volume two

A major new publication accompanies Ali Banisadr’s first exhibition in Germany, The World Upside Down.

The new volume includes every painting since 2015, as well as all works on paper. Together they form the artist’s first Catalogue Raisonne. The new book includes a text by novelist Azareen van der Vliet Oloomi, an essay by art historian Dr David Anfam and an interview with art critic Negar Azimi.
